We live in an age of convenience where many processes can be controlled by the press of a button. Our rooms have light switches, our TVs have mute buttons, we can control the temperature of our houses with a simple twirl of the thermostat dial ... but why stop there? Imagine how much better life would be if there was a mute button on your mother-in-law, or a good cop/bad cop switch on the officer about to hand you a speeding fine, or even just a simple 'unjam' option on the office photocopier. What if the weatherman had a row of buttons at his desk that really controlled the weather? What if you had a dial on the side of your head that had options like 'hungover', 'sober', 'asleep' and 'disco king'? What if there was a button in the side of coke cans that could swap them from regular to diet (as in the themepost by cyangaga)?

Your task in this contest is to install amazing control switches, buttons or dials onto objects, animals or whatever you can imagine that would give people a level of power over those things that they could previously only dream of.

Have fun and be creative! Before you begin please review the cliche list and guidelines. You'll have 48 hours to submit so make them count!
