This is my design for an inexpensive, yet impressive trophy:
- it is cheap to produce, because it is flat and can be cut (and engraved) out of plastic
- it can be painted in any color
- it is easy to assemble

I kept it thin, though with a diferent aproach...

The trophy can be made of resin or plastic. It can be in color or painted with antique gold or silver.

I tried to make it look cool to kids because of the shape and the tribal/grafitti feeling to it.

The trophy symbolizes a flowerbud because it's a kids trophy. The little talents will eventually become fullgrown basketball players. Like the bud becomes a flower.
