This is a picture of my boyfriend, Nick. I photographed this image in a film noir style. I used a mini LED light so that the light would not scatter in the background. This was a single light source used as almost a spotlight to make it seem like Nick was getting caught by the cops. I hope you like it.

If you look carefully in the background, you will notice all of the heart-shaped bright spots on the kisses in the background. Not photo-shopped! If you are interested I will post my setup post-contest so you can see how I did it (super easy and involved a cereal box for additional equipment). Used single strobe with large reflector. Full view is 800px tall.

The spot is on. Cheers!
This uses a piece of black paper rolled up and taped to an off camera compact-flash to create a "snout".

This was lit with a single photoflood light bulb.

This is a clay mask of the Indian goddess Shakti. Please view full for much better sharpness and all the nice detail

My one light source is a small flashlight shining through a partly filled water bottle with a blue label.
