CONTEST DESCRIPTION
In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for SpeedGuardian, they provide services for speeding ticket coverage at a monthly rate. The customer pays them a monthly fee of $12.95/month to be covered for up to three speeding tickets, no maximum. They call, TXT, email them, or notify them on the website that they’ve received a ticket and submit their ticket number. They verify the information on the ticket is accurate, then pay it, hassle-free for the customer.
The client is a small company located in New York City. The design will appear on the website, print material and customized giveaway merchandise.
PRIZES
- The top entry that the client chooses will receive $200*.
- The top voting winner will get 100 credits.
CLIENT RULES
- Logos must contain the words "SpeedGuardian". This is cAsE SeNsItIvE. Optionally you may include one of these tag-lines or a tag-line of your own creation; “Buckle up with SpeedGuardian.”, “Start your engines.”, “On your mark, Get SpeedGuardian, Go!”, etc...
- The logo can contain any number of colors.
- Entries may contain gradients. The client prefers that no gradients be used in your design.
- They strive to be as straightforward and modern as they can by providing a usable, sleek “Web 2.0” website. The logo must align with that vision of simplicity.
- Your logo should represent what the business is about: a hassle free way to have the average Joe’s speeding tickets paid off. It should invoke feelings of safety, reliability and ease.
- Symbols that are related to cars, speeding, safety, buckling up, reliability, cops, flashing lights and anything that could convey the vision of safety, security, worry free speeding ticket payment may be used.
- Vulgarity and nonprofessional language should be avoided.
- You may not display presentations of the logo (i.e. business cards, letterhead examples) directly in the image file that you upload as your entry. You may upload these to your media folder and link to them separately from your author comments. If you violate this rule, you risk disqualification.
- Any font may be used. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
- Before entering this contest you must read this thread.
GENERAL RULES
- Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) or high resolution photoshop files with all layers and elements intact (.psd), to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
- Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
- Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.
- Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.

- The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
