Cartoon characters are getting tired of being segregated into their own films. They want a shot at starring in the "normal" mainstream films like any other actor. Hey, if Roger Rabbit can do it, why not them?
In this contest, we're asking you to take a non-animated film and insert one or more animated characters into it. You can show us a poster or a scene from the resulting film. Add Marvin the Martian to the crew of "Galaxy Quest". Make Leela a Bond girl in "For Her Eye Only". Put Hong Kong Phooey in "The Matrix", or show us 'It's a Wonderful Smurf". As long as the new actor is a 'toon, anything goes.
Obviously the cliche prohibiting putting 2-D characters in 3-D scenes is lifted, but all other cliches remain in effect. As always, have fun, be creative!, and follow the guidelines please. You will have 48 hours to submit so make your entry count!
Hit List: do not use computer animated, 3-D characters like Shrek or Buzz Lightyear. This is for the poor, classically animated characters who never got their shot at the big time (so you can use the classically animated Winnie the Pooh but not the new 3D computer animated version).
As always, quality is a must. We will remove poor entries no matter how much we like you. You'll have 48 hours for this contest, so make your submission count.
BONUS: If you use Aviary.com to create your entry you will receive 10 free credits! If you win you will receive an additional 100 credits + A one year Green Plan Subscription to Aviary.com!!
