CONTEST DESCRIPTION

In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for Zi, a new beverage utilizing nothing but healthy ingredients. The further development of the beverage is to create a brand signature with real brand equity allowing for future brand extensions, not necessarily limited by category.

The client is a small company located in Sweden, Wales and Germany. The design will appear on all company branding and marketing materials (i.e. business cards, letter heads, Internet, etc...).

PRIZES

• The top entry that the client chooses will receive $300*.
  


• The top voting winner will get 100 credits.

CLIENT RULES

• Logos must contain the words "Zi". This is not cAsE SeNsItIvE.
  


• The logo can contain any number of colors.
  


• Entries may contain gradients.
  


• The logo style must be Mediterranean.
  


• In any new product premium launch it is essential that the strategic elements of the design carry powerful recognition values, shelf standout, and that the design itself will enhance a consumers perception of the Brand.
  


• The new logo needs to be able to convey a strong sense of the light and healthy Mediterranean-Diet living style, but with the shout of the contemporary "grab me I’m new".
  


• The intention will be to eventually create a family of products which could span categories; therefore the creation of a strong visual signature is a key element of the overall strategy. Thus the Logo has to be designed in a sense that it can be extended to sub-brands (i.e. Zinâr, ZiXXX, ZiYYY, etc...). Generally, they're utterly open to all suggestions, colors and symbols that remind of Mediterranean way of life.
  


• You may not display presentations of the logo (i.e. business cards, letterhead examples) directly in the image file that you upload as your entry. You may upload these to your media folder and link to them separately from your author comments. If you violate this rule, you risk disqualification.
  


• Any font may be used. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
  


• The logo must be Illustrator vector files (.ai or .eps).
  


• Before entering this contest you must read this thread.

GENERAL RULES

• Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
  


• Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
  


• Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.
  


• Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.
  


• Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to corporate@worth1000.com.
  


• The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
