CONTEST DESCRIPTION
In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for Genie 360°, they sell aftermarket parts, provide services and refurbishment of aerial work platforms (booms and scissor lifts). Genie 360° encompasses every aspect of aftermarket support (from warranty to parts, to refurbishment and rebuild) for booms and scissor lifts. This logo is going to be used around the world and the design should reflect that fact.
The client is located in Redmond, Washington. The design will appear on all company branding and marketing materials (i.e. letterhead, business cards, brochures, building signs, ads, web, video, etc..).
PRIZES
- The top entry that the client chooses will receive $500*.
- The top voting winner will get 100 credits.
CLIENT RULES
- Logos must contain the words "Genie 360°" and the tag-line "A World of Service and Support" (artists choice to use either a ampersand or spell out "and"). This is not cAsE SeNsItIvE. The degree sign must be used. The client would like you to submit examples of the logo with and without the tag-line.
- The logo can contain up to 4 colors. This logo must include Genie Blue (PMS 300) which should be considered the dominant brand color. Additional accent colors colors may include PMS Black, PMS Cool Gray 7, PMS 200.
- Entries may not contain gradients.
- This logo must work contextually with existing business logos Genie® (www.genieindustries.com) and Terex® (www.terex.com).
- The logo needs to be memorable and evoke the feeling that Genie 360° offers full service solutions for customers after the sale. It should be synonymous with “value”, “superior service” and “customer-focus”. The logo should make customers feel like there is a strong world-class service and support group at their beck and call.
- The client is open to symbol options. The logo can be text only, a symbol is not required.
- No element of the previously referenced logos (Genie® and Terex®) should be used in the design.
- You may not display presentations of the logo (i.e. business cards, letterhead examples) directly in the image file that you upload as your entry. You may upload these to your media folder and link to them separately from your author comments. If you violate this rule, you risk disqualification.
- The client would like you to use sans serif fonts. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
- The logo must be in Illustrator vector format (.ai or .eps).

GENERAL RULES
- Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
- Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
- Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.
- Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.

- The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
