NOTE: THIS CONTEST GOES FOR A WEEK INSTEAD OF TWO DAYS
Back in the 1950s, you couldn’t go more than a week without some giant monster attacking the city. Sure, we had the big names, like Gamera and King Kong, but there were also pterodactyls, giant squids, huge moths… I even seem to recall an enormous grasshopper one week. Things have been quiet lately – apart from that Godzilla wannabe back in ’98 – but I suspect things will be picking up again real soon…
In this contest, we want you to show a giant creature attack. No robots, no UFOs – just oversized animals or anthropomorphic monsters, like in the old B movies. You don’t need to set it in a city: The monster can attack an expedition, a cruise ship, or even another monster.
As always, have fun, be creative, follow the guidelines please, and be careful to avoid using any cliches. You have an entire month to work on your entries so we're expecting something special!
BONUS: If you use Aviary.com to create your entry you will receive 10 free credits! If you win you will receive an additional 100 credits + A one year Green Plan Subscription to Aviary.com!!
