NOTE: THIS CONTEST GOES FOR A WEEK INSTEAD OF TWO DAYS

Manga! The beautiful comic style from Japan! Vintage Hollywood! Classic movie stars from yesteryear! Let's merge!

The rules for this contest are thus: Choose an original source that is black and white/grayscale. The subject should be an old Hollywood star - think 30's, 40's era. Anything later than 1960 is out.

There are two "steps" for the contest: colorize it, and turn it into a manga. You may do these steps in whichever order you choose. You may also bring in other manga elements and change the setting for your star to make it more manga-like if you choose, but this is not necessary.

As always, have fun, be creative, follow the guidelines please, and be careful to avoid using any cliches. You have an entire week to work on your entries so we're expecting something special!
