You could easily animate the eyes, and the ZZZ's for extra effect. Create different animals to choose from. Alarm sound could be the noise the animal makes. Animate from day to night, sun/moon rising and setting. Lots of options.

The first image is the work of my friend Ensar Yanar, it has been retouched to the needs. second image has been bought from iStock. and the new simple version is the red one, incase the blue button isnt apart of the background the blue version is available too. pls view full for detailed view.

I tried two different ideas:
- a relaxing/poetic one with a cat staring at the moon
- An abstract ZEN background remembering some japanese artwork made out of flowers.

Colors can be changed as shown.

Also the light on the flowers ones can be removed. Any further changes as adding/removing stars/flowers, can easily be made.
