This is one of the best known varieties of poisonous aquatic animals, the lion fish (sometimes also called scorpion fish). Their poison is used to make some pharmaceuticals. Full view (1200px) looks much better.

a jellyfish denominated Phyllorhiza punctata, which I shot in Berlin's acquarium, enjoying the benefit of their jellyfish aquariums being fitted with "black light", which highlights the beauty and delicacy of these marvellous creatures.
