Chinese calligraphy is always a beautiful design element, and I wanted to embrace the opportunity to use it. I opted for a "Chinese seal" look, which works nicely in conjunction with the text portion, as well as a stand-alone symbol to serve as a watermark "seal" on proofs.

Symbol represents a camera lens as well as the sun. It was a challenge to do without gradients and using only six colors. I think the black and white version works well as a watermark, as requested.

Very classy script font paired with a strong san-serif. Chinese character used as an accent rather than the focal point. Smaller more compact last initial and Chinese character could be used for watermark.
