An email has been received; the contents are distressing. You're being blackmailed. They (who?) have the goods on you (what goods?) and they're threatening to ruin your life (how?) unless you comply with their demands (what do they want?). Do you give in? Or do you outwit them instead?

The rules of the game are thus: Write a story involving blackmail. It need not be first person.
