In tonight's photoshop matchup we have an 8-Way contest featuring WorthyNick, CraftLord, error5001, BerlinBear, Chimmi, TimeTraveler, mzpresto and PixelDustMT. They have chosen 'Pleasantville - Hot Rod: A' as the theme for their match and the stakes are bragging rights only.

The rules for this contest are thus: colorize this image (courtesy of Brian Toad Photography).

Your main goal in this contest is to create a realistic interpretation of what the supplied image would've looked like as a color photograph. You should strive to create an image that anyone would mistake for a real photo if they didn't know it was colorized. Realism and believability are the key words.

As such, adding of new elements (both external sources or own drawings) is strictly forbidden. You may fix any blemishes or scratches and adjust highlights/shadows prior to coloring to achieve the best base for colorization possible.

You may ONLY use the original source image. It is the only image that may be pulled from to fix flaws/scratches. (Cloning is allowed, usage of a secondary source to fix 'flaws' is not allowed.) This is strictly a coloring challenge. Let's see your coloring ability, not your ability to integrate/blend in new elements.

Rule breaks may result in disqualifaction of an entry.

All normal Worth photoshop rules apply unless otherwise stated above.

The players will have until 11:59 pm Worth time on Sunday, April 5th to submit their entries, followed by a voting period of 2 days.

Competitors are reminded to maintain anonymity during the contest.
