Reference (I actually own the book ;)) This took around 3 and a half hours. I lot longer than I expected haha. I'm still messing around with different techniques, so any advice would be appreciated. Anyways I hope you like it :)

Well i loved the photo and so i thought i would do my best to replicate it with a little change to the lighting... this is done on a HUGE 20 some inch bristol paper... looks better in life but ehh you have to settle for this.. also i did this in a 4b pencil with oil pastel overlay... as always comments welcome and a huge thank you to lorem for the sponsor :)

Well it was 2 days before the deadline that I suddenly remembered I had some sort of contest I had to enter. I rushed on over to Worth only to find I had two days to come up with something for this contest, since I had pledged to enter!

I drew the horse in one night, the background the next. I know it's really really rushed but overall I like how it turned out.

It's done in colored pencil. About 3 hours of work, no erasing. I hope it fits the theme well enough. :)
