Quality! More quality! Restore this old, damaged photo to a pristine state. No more, no less. This contest is about your skill as a photoshopper, and that's it. Not "teh funnay", no eyecandy, no life changing personal or political statements about the world in which we live... just you and your clone brush. The ideal result is an untouched looking image; it should look like a brand new snapshot when you are done. Voting will be based on just how convincing the repairwork is, and will require a bit more thought than usual from you as well.
The rules of this game are thus: You are to repair the damaged photo provided, without embellishing it in any way-- this is NOT a B2B. Significant changes other than repairs will be disqualified, and this includes colorizing- the original pic was black and white/sepia toned; it was not a colour photo when it was new...NO COLORIZING.
Obviously, you will have to recreate a background, but please, do not simply delete what is there, instead, show us what pros you are and make your background match what is already there.
