I thought it would be interesting to see how some post processing on a single image can change the look of a person completely.From innocent child on the right, to war-ravaged warrior on the left. You may want to block off one half of the face, then the other to get the full effect... then again, you may not ;)

This is my daughter just being herself. This is her favorite dress, and belive me, that dress has seen better days. lol... and she is doing her favorite thing in this... playing in the dirt and looking for bugs.
