This is one of our favorite contests to run! We solicited images from our members that their children have drawn and your task will be to reproduce these images in your own style.
For each entry that you make, you should choose one of the following images to use as your reference. You must credit the child as the inspiration and creator of the original image. This is not a "Color Me" contest, don't trace over or use the original image in your entry. See this contest for examples of how it's done.
Please send a site message to loremipsum with your choice(s). We'll be keeping a public list of which entries have been chosen to encourage complete participation.

8 year-old Dana drew the "Queen of Flowers".
Justin, his 11 year-old, likes monsters I think! One. Two.
Madison, 3, describes this as a mermaid with crown holding a bird (under water). That's a happy seashell near her feet and a fish underwater.
Regoch's talented 8 year-old, Tiana, has given us four!
Key Hill
Meadow
Old House
Mixed Lunch
Suedre's daughter Emily drew an invention that makes cherries and whip cream!
You've got to hear her description. "You push the red button, the tennis ball comes out and lands on the hammer that drop that the carrot in front of the rabbit. Then the rabbit hops on the treadmill that makes the machine work. Whip cream comes out of the top at the orange and cherries come out the bottom at the red."
cl_UK's 6 year-old niece, Heather, drew this colorful work.
I think she belongs in the Illo and Text sections:
"I am standing in the middle. Monsters are all around me. I've got special whackers on my trousers and on my back incase the monsters come too close. The tongue-taste-bud monsters have hats on to stop their heads from being whacked. The tongue monsters are my helpers. There's a cat beside the tongue-taste-bud monsters and its trying to knock their hats off.
The fox monsters are peeking out trying to find the fox so they can eat him but the fox is clever and he's hiding behind the tree. The fox is looking at his dinner and he wants to eat it.
The alien with two heads is watching all the monsters. The alien knows where the fox is so I'm using my trousers to whack him on the head to stop him from looking at the fox. He doesn't have a hat on so this will make the alien forget where the fox is. The alien wants to have an aeroplane for lunch, dinner and supper.
The sun is going down and the stars and the moon are coming up. The ghost is coming out of his house near the moon."
THANK YOU parents and kids for the wonderful drawings!
We hope many of you enter, so that we can ensure that every child may have their artwork become the inspiration for ours.
