Have you ever taken the time to look at trees and notice that they have very human characteristics? Some look bold and strong, others graceful and some definitely look bitter and gnarly!
The rules of this game are to capture an image where the subject is a tree but captured as a portrait to show it's unique personality or amazing character. You may include other trees in the image, but the focus must be on one in particular.
Composition and viewpoint are extremely important in this type of photography as is demonstrated in the themepost 'Tree Dancing' by j9mayer.
