This is an Advanced level contest
Action photography is in a class by itself. Animal action photography is even harder because it is more difficult to predict how and when an animal may react.
Where most pictures seem like a snapshot in time, action photos give the impression of continuing motion, as in the incredible themepost, where meerkat has captured this sweet dog's crazy wolf-like side.
In this contest, you are to photograph animals in action with blurred or frozen motion so long as the photograph gives the impression of motion and is of an animal.
Without getting into semantics, yes... I know humans are animals, but not in this contest. They may be included in the photograph, but they must not be the focus of the action, you must choose one of the several million other options available.
