Princess Morwen and Bluescale found the wall guards dead in their blood, wine, and dice--an attack! They took off, lighting the emergency beacons as they raced past. The unknown enemy was surely approaching through the forest below.

"Let's see how well you can hide now," Morwen thought, aiming a fiery arrow into the trees.

Kirin (from D&D): an asian unicorn that is a mix of deer, lion, dragon, and fish. (Everyone seems to draw them very differently--here's my version.)

A special thank you to the talented Katie Stearns for letting me use her archery photo!
Also thank you to one of our worthians for the critique!

Whilst taking photos of the sunset, I noticed this treant and her child walking across the field. Slowly, I made my way towards them. Soon I was upon them, and the mother noticed me. She stared right into my eyes and let loose a mighty roar that shook me to my bones. Luckily, I did get this picture before making my escape. Hope you like it.

The carrion crawler was one of the earliest creatures introduced in the D&D game. In all editions of the game, carrion crawlers are said to live underground, but will sometimes go to the surface for food. They are akin in appearance to a three to four foot long centipede. The other striking aspect of a carrion crawler is that is possesses eight long tentacles protruding from the sides of its head, which allow it to stun its prey. As its name might suggest, it eats carrion, but it is known to kill live prey.
