CONTEST DESCRIPTION

In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for Heart to Heart Invitations, they manufacture and sell invitation cards (i.e. weddings, engagements, anniversaries etc..) and greeting cards (all occasions).

The client is a small company located in Sydney, Australia. The design will appear on business stationery (business cards, letter heads), back of invitations and greeting cards, store front, company car, ads, website, etc....

PRIZES

• The top entry that the client chooses will receive $50*.
  


• The top voting winner will get 100 credits.

CLIENT RULES

• Logos must contain the words "Heart to Heart Invitations". This is not cAsE SeNsItIvE. Optionally, you may include a tag-line of your own creation. The client would also like to see a version of your logo with "Heart to Heart Designs". Please keep in mind that the client will be editing the winning logo files.
  


• The logo can contain up to 3 colors. The client is leaning towards black and red, but is open to other color options. The logo should work well on black and white.
  


• Entries may not contain gradients.
  


• The logo style must be simple and memorable. It should have a timeless feel to it.
  


• Your logo should should make clients feel that they will receive the best service and quality/uniqueness in the product they purchase.
  


• No cliche icons such as two rings, two hearts, invitation scroll, etc... may be used. Please keep in mind the company is not just about wedding invitations, it also does general greeting cards. The logo should be instantly recognizable as a stand-alone without the company name. The client is open to symbol options.
  


• You may not display presentations of the logo (i.e. business cards, letterhead examples) directly in the image file that you upload as your entry. You may upload these to your media folder and link to them separately from your author comments. If you violate this rule, you risk disqualification.
  


• Any font may be used. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
  


• The client prefers Illustrator vector files (.ai or .eps).
  


• Before entering this contest you must read this thread.

GENERAL RULES

• Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
  


• Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
  


• Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.
  


• Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.
  


• Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to corporate@worth1000.com.
  


• The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
