Since the dawn of a few centuries ago, mankind has gazed up into the vast firmament above and dreamt of a time when we would have to take off our shoes at the end of a long line full of crying babies. We are speaking, of course, of heavier-than-air flying machines. We will celebrate this impossible dream by turning the preposterous notion of flight into two dimensional art.

Your task is this: Illustrate a flying machine(s).
Anything goes, just keep the darn thing between the dirt and space.

Digital illustrations, real life sketches, line art, paintings or cartoons are acceptable (remember - no 3d apps). Please take the extra few minutes and list/link your references, as per the illustration guidelines.

The rules of the game are thus: In any style or medium, create a Flying Machine, in accordance with Worth's illustration contest rules. NO PHOTO TRACING, PAINTOVERS OR CLOSE REFERENCE. You'll have 14 (fourteen) days for this contest, so make your submission count.
