Your task is this: Illustrate a unique creature. We're NOT looking for movie monsters, humanoid trolls or extra-terrestrials - we want to see something bizarrely unique. A whole new species - animals you'd never expect to see munching on bugs in your mother's rose garden. Think chimera and you're heading in the right direction. Have fun with it.

Your original creature doesn't have to be practical, just unique and springing from the depths of your wildest daydreams.

Digital illustrations, real life sketches, line art, paintings or cartoons are acceptable (remember - no 3d apps). Please take the extra few minutes and list/link your references, as per the illustration guidelines.

The rules of the game are thus: In any style or medium, create a new, unique creature, in accordance with Worth's illustration contest rules. NO PHOTO TRACING, PAINTOVERS OR CLOSE REFERENCE. You'll have 14 (fourteen) days for this contest, so make your submission count.
