Summer is fast approaching fall here in the states, so lets wish it a fond fairwell. (And for those of us who've been burned by the pretty rays of the burning searing sun, let's make that a speedy goodbye shall we.)
But the sun isn't the only thing in the sky, you can find all kinds of things floating above our heads, lifted on the breeze, thrown from the hand, rocket powered, battery powered,...well, you get the idea.
The rules of the game are thus: Write a poem about anything you can find in the sky. Almost any type of poetry is allowed for this challenge.
Hit list: limerick, haiku Use them and risk being disqualified.
Keep in mind that profanity is not acceptable. All entries must be in accordance with our text rules and guidelines. As always, quality is a must. You will have 14 days for this contest, so make your submission count.
