In this contest your task is to depict the offspring of any predator and prey coupling. What would be the result if a wolf knocked up a squirrel? If a sperm whale shagged a giant squid? If an eagle got jiggy with a trout? So many combinations, only 48 hours to play with. Let's play mad geneticist.
The rules of this game are thus: Create a crossbreed of any predator/prey pair that occurs naturally in nature (i.e. a mountain lion-penguin wouldn't work, but a shark-tuna, a lion-gazelle, or a bat-mosquito all would). Don't just mix a random predator with a random prey animal, make sure it's a predator that actually hunts and eats the other creature. Don't add humans, as they are not "natural" predators of any wild animal.
Have fun, be creative!, keep it clean, follow the Contest Rules (PDF file) please, and be careful to avoid using cliches. You will have 48 hours to submit so make your entry count!
