Well you've certainly shown what power can be found in the art of black and white photography. This round we crave color! Lots of it! As close as you can get!
The theme this round is to take a very colorful macro photograph. "Colorful" can mean saturated and vibrant and energetic; bright reds and oranges and neon blues and the like. Similarly, you're welcome to bring out the nuances of rust tones. We are looking for maximum contrast and impact here though, so push those colors to the extreme! "Macro" will be enforced as per the regular contests, with no exact definition but meaning "really close" - if you're uncertain, ask, but pushing the rules shouldn't really be the focus of this theme :)
Tip: you might have more luck with post-processing by using "vibrancy" instead of "saturation" for your adjustments, as well as working in LAB mode and not RGB. Use your team-members for tips on post-processing the most striking colors.
SPECIAL RULES: Beginner-level editing rules this time, folks. That means no selective editing!
Special Tournament rules:- All photographs must be taken during the Submit period - no shoeboxing!
- Please keep borders reasonably simple; they should accentuate, not be artworks in themselves ;)
- Entries should be kept under 600kB.
- You do not need to pick your Team this Round, see this thread.
- Do NOT vote on your Team's entries. It's considered bad sportsmanship and we will be watching.
- The team's average score for this Round will be displayed at the bottom of the leaderboard. The team with the highest average wins the Round.
