In this week's Darkroom contest, you will practice your tweaking skills as you will be challenged to make your most dramatic black and white landscape photograph using photoshop or similar software. The Sunlight of Spring by jen2203 is a breathtaking example...
There are different ways to achieve the same look. You can do an internet search for burn and dodge tips and you will find several tutorials.
Seascapes and Cityscapes will also be allowed.
Special Rules:
1. You will be allowed to use the brush tool to create a vignette as well as dodge and burn. You will also be allowed to use layer masks. You may use the spot healing brush to remove small areas, like removal of dust.
2. You will also be allowed a black or white (or combination) border of any width to enhance your photo.
3. No toned images will be allowed. Strictly black and white only.
