Most pictures we see are lit either from in front or from the sides... but ooh... you can get some great results by shining light at an object from behind or lighting areas behind the object you want to be the focus of your image. Your subject can be anything but it must not result in a silhouette.
The rules of this contest are that you should take an image where you have backlit your subject or lit up an area behind your subject with light to highlight it as in sgatanstu's very effective and impactful 'Blue'.
HIT LIST: Silhouettes, use them and be disqualified.
