The rules for this contest are thus: Colorize this: Miracle on 34th Street - (Courtesy of Dr. Macro)
Your main goal in this contest is to create a realistic interpretation of what the supplied image would've looked like as a color photograph. You should strive to create an image that anyone would mistake for a real photo if they didn't know it was colorized. Realism and believability are the key words.
You may ONLY use the original b/w source image. No additional source images are allowed...no full moons and no bats unless you draw them yourself. This is first and foremost a coloring challenge. Let's see your coloring ability, not your ability to integrate/blend in source images.
In short, no using custom brushes, no integrating outside sources.
Rule breaks may result in disqualification of an entry.
VOTING UPDATE: With w3k, the rules for voting in an HxH have changed. You are now free to decide whether you vote or not. This can be an individual choice.
All normal Worth Effects rules apply unless otherwise stated above.
The players will have until 11:59 pm Worth time on Sunday, December 20th to submit their entries, followed by a voting period of 2 days.
Competitors are reminded to maintain anonymity during the contest.
Good luck!
