CONTEST DESCRIPTION
In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for RakeTheRake, they provide online poker players with ”˜rakeback’. For more information see the website (please note that the website design and layout will be changing with the new logo).
About Rakeback:
Online poker rooms make their money by automatically taking a cut of the players' stake money; this is called the 'rake'. Typically the rake is 5% of every pot, you will often see it being taken and stacked at the top of the table during a game. Playing a few hundred hands a month soon accumulates a large amount of rake, and players could be paying tens of thousands of $$$ a year in rake. Most players don't realize they can get up to 100% of their rake money back with a rakeback professional.
The design will appear on all company branding and advertising in a range of sizes (i.e. website, online and offline advertising, merchandise, stationery, etc...)
PRIZES
- The top entry that the client chooses will receive $400.
- The second entry that the client chooses will receive $100.
- The third entry that the client chooses will receive $50.
- The top voting winner will get 100 credits.
CLIENT RULES
- Logos must contain the words "RakeTheRake" and the tag-line "Poker Cashback, Win or Lose". This is cAsE SeNsItIvE. They will also need to include “RakeTheRake.com” in certain offline advertising situations.
- The logo can contain any number of colors.
- Entries may contain gradients.
- The logo style must be clean, simple and smart. The logo will be used in online banner advertising as well as large promotional print advertising, so the logo should look clear and recognizable in a range of sizes.
- Your logo should represent trust and satisfaction. Their target audience is all online poker players, worldwide, of all ages with online gaming interests.
- Anything symbolizing poker, cash and cash-back may be used. They like the smart and simple style of this design.
- They like the authority of their existing font style, but are open to incorporating a more modern twist. Possible choices, but not compulsory are: Prelo Slab, Aptifer Slab and ITC Officina. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
- The logo files must be vector (.ai or .eps).

GENERAL RULES
- Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
- Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
- Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.
- Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.
- Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to corporate@worth1000.com.
- The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
