Sometimes a trophy or a star just doesn't cut it. Your work seemed more worthy somehow. Maybe you did something here that won't even earn you any recognition. Something you did in the forums, or maybe even in chat, no trophies or stars given there (except occasionally a pink one).
Well, Merit badges are good enough for the Boy Scouts, why not here? Be sure to create your own, and give a good effort to make it looked stitched.
