CONTEST DESCRIPTION

In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for WRNTY.com and MyWRNTY.com. WRNTY.com helps manufactures and their distributors improve their supply chain management by getting real time information from ALL their Point of Sales (including third parties). MyWRNTY.com helps the consumer manage their warranties, stay connected to their favorite brands and get bargain deals.

They are a small start-up company that targets two different types of customers:

- Manufactures/Distributors: they provide them a real time sales/operations/service application in a cloud environment.

- Consumers that get information related to their purchases.

More information on the company can be found here: (please do not try to match the style/colors to these samples as WRNTY intends to change it.)

The design will appear on the website, warranty cards (similar to credit cards), business cards, letterheads, on terminals and cash registers in shops.


PRIZES

  • The top entry that the client chooses will receive $600.

  • The top voting winner will get 100 credits.

CLIENT RULES

  • The client would like two logo's. One logo must contain the words "WRNTY.com". This is not cAsE SeNsItIvE. Optionally, you may include the tag-line "Real Time POS Information". The second logo must contain the words "MyWRNTY.com". This is not cAsE SeNsItIvE. The client would like "WRNTY" to remain the same in both designs, but "My", in MyWRNTY.com, should be styled differently (perhaps with a handwriting).

  • The logo can contain any number of colors.

  • Entries may contain gradients.

  • The "WRNTY.com" logo style must be business professional, luxurious and chic. The "MYWRNTY" logo style must be WEB 2.0, luxurious and chic. You must keep in mind the customer when designing your logo's. With WRNTY.com you are designing for luxury brands head of sales, head of operations and distributors around the world. With MyWRNTY.com you are designing for millions of consumers who want to track their warranties and get up-to-date info about related products/accessories, extended warranties offers, coupons and define alerts for certain events such as warranty expiration.

  • Your logo should convey credibility, innovation, style, luxury and chic..

  • The client is open to symbol options. One idea the client had was "WRNTY" as a traditional stamp (to convey credibility), but has something different (for example hand writing) going out of the frame with the word "My" in hand writing.

  • Any font may be used. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.

  • The client would like both a vector file (.ai or .eps) and high resolution photoshop files with all layers and elements intact (.psd).

  • Before entering this contest you must read this thread.

GENERAL RULES

  • Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) and high resolution photoshop files with all layers and elements intact (.psd), to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).

  • Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.

  • Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.

  • Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.

  • Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to corporate@worth1000.com.

  • The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
