This paper craft is called "sliceform." It can be used for very elaborate models or something as simple as the dividers in a box of wine bottles. Because of the nature of the sliceform, the project can be collapsed flat without being disassembled.

Disposable Flip Flops/ Thongs! How many pairs of flip flops/thongs have you lost?
These shoes made of 2 ply cardboard and coloured paper; feature air sole, traction grip for the beach, comfort, style and affordability.
Designed, using geometric cellular configuration to support weight, tabs for added strength; wear these attractive foot protectors and then environmentally dispose. Idea came from the original cardboard inserts that were used to cover the holes in leather shoes during hard times.
Surprisingly, strong straps were the biggest problem until I hit on the idea to use cardboard handles from shopping bags covered in crepe paper.
No, there will not be a production line!
Procedure as well as supplementary making and testing images
Next idea will be disposable sunglasses, due to the numbers of glasses lost annually!

That stack of Christmas gift catalogues was just begging for attention. But I don't think this is what the advertisers had in mind.

Content: about a dozen catalogues - I only used the pages with pictures on them.

This antelope was crafted long ago, and the photo was taken 3 long years back. I dint see this contest earlier or I would have taken a better shot.

And notice that ruled scribbled paper which was used to make it. This was my best pastime a day before exams....hehe

And yes this is my own creation and not worked upon instructions of any origami books.
