Grandad was a chicken farmer all his life and he swore that a happy turkey was a tasty turkey. For 3 generations we have gift wrapped our turkey on Christmas Eve and placed it under the tree so it could join in the family festivities and revelry. Unfortunately his festivities come to an abrupt end about 10am Christmas morning.sources
