CONTEST DESCRIPTION

In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for The Home Spot, provides an online marketing tool for 'For Sale By Owner' homes. The website will be a complete real estate resource for both buyers and sellers. The site will include typical listing information for homes (pictures, bedrooms, baths, square footage, etc...) as well as tools, tips, and marketing material. They are making buying and selling real estate user friendly and affordable.

The design will appear on the company website, business cards, letterheads, stationary and all other marketing and corporate material.

PRIZES

• The top entry that the client chooses will receive $350.
  


• The top voting winner will get 100 credits.

CLIENT RULES

• Logos must contain the words "The Home Spot". This is not cAsE SeNsItIvE.
  


• The logo can contain any number of colors. They want to stay away from the typical real estate agent colors of primary red, blue and yellow. The colors should help the company stand out against the thousands of real estate agents sites. Strong colors are encouraged.
  


• Entries may contain gradients.
  


• The logo needs to be professional, classy and elegant. They are looking for a simple logo to be a visual representation of The Home Spot. The website will target homeowners wanting to sell their home without paying the large commissions to real estate brokers. The site will also target buyers looking to buy a home with more control while also saving money.
  


• They want the logo to stand out against the typical real estate sites. They are not real estate agents, they are professional, experienced and trustworthy business people wanting to help their clients.
  


• The client is open to different symbol options.
  


• No typical house logos may be used. They do not want a typical real estate logo. The website will entail more than just buying and selling homes, it will be a 'spot' for all things related to your house.
  


• Any font may be used. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
  


• The client prefers Illustrator vector files (.ai ir .eps).
  


• Before entering this contest you must read this thread.

GENERAL RULES

• Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
  


• Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
  


• Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.
  


• Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.
  


• Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to corporate@worth1000.com.
  


• The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
