CONTEST DESCRIPTION

In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for Linfosys new software application Nympha, an IT company. Linfosys has a hardware and maintenance department, but also develops software. The product manages quotes and product information in a fast an user-friendly way. For now the application will only be marketed in The Netherlands and Belgium. For more information see the websites:linfosys.nl and nympha.nl (both sites are in dutch. No design inspiration should be taken from the sites).

The design will appear on website, advertisements, Icons for in windows, etc...

PRIZES

• The top entry that the client chooses will receive $200.
  


• The top voting winner will get 100 credits.

CLIENT RULES

• Logos must contain the words "Nympha". This is not cAsE SeNsItIvE. Optionally, you may include the tag-line "Brings clarity to your quotations and orders" or one of your own creation.
  


• The logo can contain any number of colors. The accent color must be one of the 2 shades of blue used in the main-screen of the application: Dark blue (4682b4), Light blue (add8e6).
  


• Entries may contain gradients.
  


• The logo style must be professional, modern and not to funky. Their target audience is aimed at the small and medium business, but can be generally used for any retail organization who is in need of a easy to use quotation and order system and has outgrown Word/Excel.
  


• Your logo should represent clarity, transparency, straightforward and unpretentious.
  


• Items like water, glass and transparent objects (i.e. a glass ball to emphasis the clarity bit) may be used.
  


• No currency symbols may be used.
  


• No classical or curly type fonts may be used. Think of a modern professional look. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
  


• The client prefers high resolution photoshop files with all layers and elements intact (.psd).

GENERAL RULES

• Please upload your high resolution photoshop files with all layers and elements intact (.psd), to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
  


• Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
  


• Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.
  


• Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.
  


• Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to corporate@worth1000.com.
  


• The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
