CONTEST DESCRIPTION

In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for Accelerated Technology Laboratories new software product Titan. Titan is a laboratory information management system; from logging samples into the laboratory asset management, to managing chemicals, inventory, generating reports and invoices. For more information see the website. Their previous product Logos can be found here (these should be used as inspiration for the new product logo).

Their company provides software products for analytical laboratories, to assist them in managing their laboratory information. From tracking samples, to capturing meta data, and all other information that is important for maintaining laboratory compliance. Their mission is to provide their clients with the software data management tools to manage and grow their laboratory business.

Some of their customers are energy firms (Duke, National Grid), food companies (such as Butterball and Sanderson Farms), water and waste-water laboratories. Their target for this new product is that it be more than just a laboratory management system - similar to a comprehensive organizational tool for their operations.

The design will appear primarily on the computer screen as an icon for the product, on the website, packaging (box), CD label, and product literature.ӬӬ

PRIZES

• The top entry that the client chooses will receive $600.
  


• The top voting winner will get 100 credits.

CLIENT RULES

• Logos must contain the words "Titan". This is not cAsE SeNsItIvE.
  


• The logo can contain any number of colors. Try to include green into the logo (Pantone 7482, #49ab65).
  


• Entries may contain gradients, but the client would like a black and white, non-gradient version included as well.
  


• The logo style must be business professional (web 2.0 + business professional) with clean lines. Their target audience is typically male laboratory managers (35-55 years old), highly intelligent, conservative, primarily North America, Europe and the Middle East.
  


• Your logo should represent a total solution package for your laboratory (start to finish solution).
  


• Images that convey a total solution may be used (i.e. laboratory images, tools, glassware, data, etc..). Please check out their current product logos, especially Sample Master. An example of a logo design they like is Apple Computers.
  


• Any font may be used. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
  


• The logo files must be Illustrator vector (.ai or .eps).
  


• Before entering this contest you must read this thread.

GENERAL RULES

• Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
  


• Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
  


• Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.
  


• Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.

• The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
