Icons were designed in illustrator, they are vector, but i can change them to any format if requested.

I've made the icons as simple as possible but kept them eye catching, the sizes required are shown here to demonstrate that they work in a small format

Colours can be changed easily!

I must admit that I had already done all five icons before spotting the bit about only needing to do three. Oh well.

I've tried to go for a fresh, friendly style and stick to common symbol conventions. For example, pencils are often used to indicate 'edit', resize handles on a box suggests layout adjustment and a dashed box is universally recognised as 'selection'.

It also seemed to make sense to have the layer icons in 3D to give the sense of layers stacked on top of each other. Favicons from other cloud sources could of course be used.

With the exception of the Google favicon, all elements are vectors that can be easily scaled; the icons at the top of the mock-up are 30x30.
