Today, we proudly present our very first AUDIO contest!
Your task will be thus: Look at the picture that is the themepost for this contest. Let it inspire you. Compose and realize a soundtrack or score to go with it. The maximum length of your piece is 3 minutes.

It is as easy as that. You can compose anything, from classical to hardrock (if you feel it fits the picture) or even go experimental with sounds and noises... we leave this entirely up to your imagination.
YOUR PIECE MUST BE COMPOSED FOR THIS CONTEST, although you may mix components you have done in the past.
AUDIO: How to do it:
If you want to record something, like your voice or you strumming your guitar, you will need a microphone. Decent microphones are not expensive, even the VOIP headsets often do well. But perhaps you do not need to record anything at all.
Do you have software to record and mix your entry? No? Well, Worth can help. On its sister site, Aviary, you find Myna, our very own online Audio tool. You can use this to mix and save your entry, it's quite easy. You can also access Myna using the popup bar at the bottom of this page. You can, of course, also use any other sort of audio software that you have access to.
IF YOU PREPARE YOUR ENTRY IN MYNA, PLEASE INCLUDE THE .EGG ADDRESS ON THE ENTRY FORM AND WE WILL REFUND YOUR ENTRY CREDITS.
Upload your final entry as .wav or .mp3 file. When you click "Submit Entry", this is as easy as usual - the contest already "knows" that Audio files are going to be uploaded instead of pictures or texts.
MAXIMUM LENGTH of your entry is 3 minutes. This is a hard limit. One second over and your entry will be disqualified.
GENERAL AUDIO RULES:
- You MUST NOT use music that is under any copyright restrictions. Use of copyrighted music leads to an immediate DQ and possible ban!
- No sampling of tracks from musicians without their consent!
- No sampling of lyrics from musicians without their consent!
- There is a huge library of content embedded right within Myna that you can legally use. It's courtesy of APM music, and there are no restrictions on these tracks.
