Cross processing is a technique that comes from the film days (remember film?) Using the right chemicals was necessary to get the correct color cast on your negatives. What happens if you use the wrongs ones? Well, you get some fabulous funky images!

This technique can be duplicated in the digital darkroom, and that is what we'll be working on for this week's contest.

Check out these two tutorials from our own Hanswors:

Cross Processing pt 1
Cross processing pt 2

Like most everything in Photoshop there is more than one way to get the same end result. Feel free to search the internet for other articles on this technique. The end result is what's important in this contest.

You can use any subject you'd like, but note that this technique looks better on some images than others. Also your result should remain photorealistic.

In this darkroom contest you may use creative borders and the Vingetting technique used in Hanswors' tutorial. Spot editing will not be allowed.
