In photography we are always concerned about light. It makes images shimmer and brings them to life. In this contest, we are going to be concerned about the absence of light.. but rest assured, lighting is important to get what you want.
For this contest, you are to capture as your main subject, a shadow. The shadow doesn't have to be the only thing in your photography but it must be a strong compositional force. It also doesn't mean that your image has to be a dark one, as you can see in Seabie's very elegant but colorful, "Sunset Shadow".
