I think a pixel shaped smiley would be more fitting. :)

I tried to keep it as simple as possible with a few extra options that I think people would like to use for example the love heart will be better than using <3

I think there are enough here for anyone to express themselves using the art of the smiley :-)

Making something visible at 16x16 not that easy :/ I tried!

With the concern about being able to see the little smileys, I thought "why not strip them down to the bare expressions."

Top section is each smiley at 32 and 16 pixels. Bottom row is the 16 pixel size lined up one right after the other.

I wanted to incorporate a smiley that half his features are female worthian ie eyelashes and longer hair and the other half as a male worthian ie eyebrow and shorter hair.
