CONTEST DESCRIPTION
In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for Southern California Consortium for Behavior Analysis, a non-profit organization. Their consortium is made-up of approximately 50 behavior analysts practicing in Southern California. Behavior analysts use the principles of behavior analysis to make meaningful change in the lives of those with whom they work. Many of them work with children with autism to replace the inappropriate behaviors often seen in those with autism (i.e., tantrums, aggression) with age-appropriate communication, and play skills. Others work with children with feeding disorders to teach them to chew, accept a variety of foods, etc... Some work with typically developing children with behavior problems. Some work with adults with developmental disabilities or brain injury to help them learn functional daily living skills.
Their mission:
The Southern California Consortium for Behavior Analysis (SCCBA) is dedicated to the science of behavior analysis and to working collaboratively to achieve professional goals that are unattainable individually. SCCBA will promote the highest standards of behavior analysis, community awareness, and business practices, and monitor legislation and research that impact the practice of behavior analysis. Members of SCCBA are committed to the utilization of quality behavior analytic programs that have been empirically validated for the betterment of those who receive services, and they adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
The design will appear on business cards, letterhead, website and any other marketing materials.
