My entry to pay homage to europe's favourite vulcano Eyjafjallajokull.
I gathered up a couple of sources for this idea months ago, and restarted production in light of this contest.This image was composed from scratch from 9 sources, the light beams were done digitally, and the whole cloud effect was don using multiple techniques including overlaying clouds, pasting bits and parts of clouds, and painting over and smudging the subject to get the wanted effect.Starting source.
