Based on Jacques Louis David's 'Death of Marat' and a few pieces of other Neoclassical paintings. The sword stuck in Marat's chest is Napoleon's, from David portrait 'Napoleon Crossing the Alps'...I'd like to think Napoleon would have found that amusing.
I think I am addictid to these now! This is my second one.

Arrgh. Hope it finds your liking.Just a quick note about the work: The black under the mustach (your right) looked odd to me, but as the original painting had it, I honored it and kept it. Just thought it better to defer to the Master on that (go figure). The orininal work was done by Frans Hals and can be seen here:http://www.lib-art.com/imgpainting/9/0/12109-verdonck-frans-hals.jpg
