The Greek god of wine would lead his followers into the mountains to indulge in their revels.I did not do an initial drawing as most of the picture is built up from various photographic sources. The sky is a photo with extra painted highlights, the mountains and trees are paintovers and the figure is a mixture of original painting and paintovers.
The Mind Flayer stalks his prey in the dark. Floating above it, this creepy brain eater creature is just waiting for the dark elf think this high ceiling chamber is secure. Then, he will cast a psionic shockwave to daze the drow, eliminating any further resistance in his mind controlling game. This drow will not be his supper tonight, as this race innate abillities are too useful for the colony.
