Doctor Who is the worlds longest running sci- fi series, made by the B.B.C.
In this scene the Doctor and his companion, Amy Pond have traveled back in time to rescue Einstien from an alien tentacle beastie.
I chose Einstien to highlight the difference between real science versus the doctor's made up fairy tale 'science'.
Alternatly the doctor is rescuing Des Lynham after Gary Lineker has turned into fore mentioned tentacle beastie ;) (one for the brits im guessing)
Despite the psudoscience and the fact its pretty much a kids show, Im a big fan.
