CONTEST DESCRIPTION
In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for iLocalised.com, travel site.
Travel like a local: iLocalised.com provides a free global online information service where locals can write a review on their city for travelers wanting to visit their part of the world. The city reviews can be produced, adjusted and/or added to by anybody after creating a free account with iLocalised.com. The city reviews will allow account holders to add photos, videos and detailed descriptions of their city to the site, and travelers to gain access to information without companies trying to sell their goods or services to the site's visitor. The information provided allows travelers to go off the beaten track and see the real side of cities as seen by locals.
The design will appear on website, letterheads, business cards, email and t-shirts.
PRIZES
- The top entry that the client chooses will receive $250.
- The top voting winner will get 100 credits.
CLIENT RULES
- Logos must contain the words "iLocalised.com". This is cAsE SeNsItIvE.
- The logo can contain any number of colors. Colors used should include orange, to represent vitality. Colors should represent health, vitality, and a trustworthy source of travel information.
- Entries may contain gradients.
- The logo style must be simple and professional. It should be be easily recognizable and timeless. Target group is not gender specific, but aimed at an age group between 20 ”“ 45, global, interested in travel and in receiving information from a local point of view. For people interested in traveling off the beaten track, visiting unusual places and less advertised attractions.
- The logo should invoke the spirit of health, vitality, travel and freedom.
- Examples of symbols could include anything to do with world travel, but it must look professional and classy. The logo design needs to be aimed at world travel and cities. Some examples of logos the client likes are Michael Spitz and the award winner's from Logo From Dreams.
- Comic Sans and/or Times new roman should not to be used. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
- Logo files must be vector EPS.
- Before entering this contest you must read this thread.
GENERAL RULES
- Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) or high resolution photoshop files with all layers and elements intact (.psd), to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
- Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
- Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.
- Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.
- Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to corporate@worth1000.com.
- The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
