On Memorial Day this year I was photographing flowers after a light rain when I saw big brown eyes staring at me through the tall grass. I nearly fell over when I realized it was a young fawn! I took many of pictures of it then felt like I was stressing it out so I quit. Mom came back for him the next day so I shot her too, with the camera!

Sorry to all you people with a arachnophobia - i got one too! But this didn't keep me from taking a picture of this actually beautiful female oak spider.
This was taken at the wildlife foundation near where I grew up. I have spent many hours with these animals and love photographing everything there. Enjoy!
